What are just intonation reference frequencies for each semitone of 12 note scale?
As I understand, one cannot easily transpose his piece in Just Intonation the way he transposes it in Equal Temperament.
Let’s say by default our composition is in A-major (and in just Intonation of A) and it sounds great. Then we decide to transpose our piece to another tonality, let’s say to E-major. E-major won’t sound great in just intonation of A, right? Then, E-major tonality should be built in just intonation of E (not A)? Or I miss something?
I know that reference frequency for A4 equals 440 Hz. So there are no questions of how to build just intonation for reference key A4. However, could you please tell me where do I get reference frequencies for the rest 11 semitones of an octave (C4, C#4, D4, D#4, E4, F4, F#4, G4, G#4, A#4, B) to build just intonations from them? What are their ideal reference frequencies? I'm a bit lost with this Just Intonation topic.
