[node.js / Elastic Stack] Seeking advice programmatically exporting data from Kibana saved search objects.

Hello everyone! :)

I am currently working on a node.js POC project that exports data corresponding to Kibana saved searches via REST API calls. I am currently stuck at a roadblock trying to figure out how to export data bounded by the saved search parameters, within a user-determined time frame. I am not at liberty to share the code at this time, but here is a brief overview of the application:

  1. User provides authorization and selects a project within Kibana that they have access to via a UI. Once a user has selected a project, any saved searches associated with that project are populated into the UI. (close to done, trying to return a list of saved searches for the selected project)

  2. The user selects a saved search, report name, date range and submits the form. The application then makes a request to the kibana index(es) and returns the data associated with the selected search and within the given time range. The data is then sent to a .CSV file, and returned to the user through their browser (WIP).

As I said earlier, I am currently stuck trying to retrieve the saved searches for projects, and then returning the data bounded by a saved search to be exported to a .CSV file. My biggest concern is that I am unable to detect unique identifiers in the POST requests sent to the indexes that is specific to a saved search object.

I am very new to Elasticsearch and the ELK stack in general, and I was wondering if there are any veterans out there who may have worked on something similar and could provide me with some tips on programmatically exporting data returned from Kibana saved searches.

Thank you in advance, regards! :)
