Do certain hair colors make rosacea look worse?

I was thinking of dying my hair an ash blonde/silver color but then I read that blonde hair will make the redness appear worse than it is. It said the best hair color to go with is red? And second was brown.

Is this true? Anyone have any personal stories about this?

I have brown hair currently. Maybe if the blonde makes it look worse I could go with a strawberry blonde (but more on the blonde side) instead?
