Best fireworks to buy?

My bf wants to buy a bunch of fireworks for the holiday. I've never bought any besides sparklers because I have a small fear of fire in general. I don't want to waste a bunch of money on some that aren't entertaining. My bf wants a few big ones. We are planning to hit up one of those roadside tents to pick them out.

Any ones you suggest?
