Nintendo Switch, New Router to connect remote play with my PSVita, or just save my money?

I'm thinking of either buying a Nintendo Switch, a new router that would replace my UVerse router because it wont allow me to use Remote Play on my Vita, or just save my money and wait for a Nintendo Switch hardware revision and just spend my money on more games for my Vita and PS4? :)
