Adult Entertainment Services
If the mods want to remove this, they can. In the interest of giving TH the benefit of the doubt, I'd like to explain about that "ad".
This really burns me up and I'll tell you why. I have been a web designer for over 15 years. I am now also a photographer who started out four years ago photographing families, children, etc.
I start steaming every time someone says TH's photography included "adult" services. Why? Because "Adult Entertainment Products and Services" automatically makes people think of porn and filth. Any photographer in this area who seriously wanted to start a business catering to families would NEVER have placed any kind of ad suggesting that she included "Adult Entertainment Products and Services" Believe me or don't. I don't care. It kills me that this young woman might be misinterpreted as participating in things that she wasn't and she can't defend herself.
So now ... here's my proof. Again, believe it or don't. I don't care.
I will one last time point out that those "ads/promotions" were made by link farms long after TH died.
The link that originally floated around here, was a page on a link farm. It was not TH's official website, it was not an ad taken out by TH on another website. In fact, it was created long after TH died.
A link farm is a website (or a group of websites) created only for the purpose of increasing the link popularity of another site by increasing the number of incoming links. ... Because Google dislikes links between unrelated sites, some link farms divide their links into categories or a directory.
There are dozens if not hundreds of link farm sites.
Link farms get their business information from any number of companies. Databases are purchased from doctor's offices, small businesses, printing companies, camera equipment stores, framing companies, newsletters, etc. and MANY, MANY times they are outdated. Businesses listed on these link farms many times will be closed, have folded or their owners may have died.
Here is a similar, if not the same, "ad":
http://www.usbizs.com/WI/Green_Bay/Photography_By_Teresa_1b0X.html
Do you see where it says "Category: Adult Entertainment Products and Services"?
Scroll down and click any of the photographers listed under "Other Related Companies" (i.e., Photography by Michael, Photography by Terry, Picture People).
Almost EVERY.ONE.OF.THEM are listed as providing "Adult Entertainment Products and Services"
Picture People, http://www.picturepeople.com/about-us/learn-about-us, one of the businesses listed as offering "Adult Entertainment Products and Services", DOES NOT, under any circumstances, offer adult entertainment services. They are a nationally known chain. They didn't place this ad and they didn't choose "Adult Entertainment Products and Services".
Or are you saying every photographer gets listed on these "link farm" sites as offering AES as a service?
Yes, that is EXACTLY what I am saying.
Under "Contact Info" you can see a link to "Request Remove". Know why? None of these businesses made or approved their listing on this site. I am 95% certain that if a real company were to contact this website and want to remove the "Adult Entertainment Products and Services" from their business description, there would be a charge.
Now. scroll to the bottom of the page. http://www.usbizs.com is copyrighted from 2009 -2017. Four years after TH died.
A look at whois.com at https://www.whois.com/whois/usbizs.com shows the company is registering the domain name in 2014. My experience tells me that it was purchased from another lionkfarm and re-registered.
What I think about TH is opinion. What I know about SEO, web design, etc. is fact as I've known it for 15+ years.

I agree one hundred percent that her photography AND the known clients, one of whom she ended up involved with, SHOULD have been investigated further.
