Existing individual O365 accounts moving to Azure AD

Hi there,

Not seeing much on this topic after some searching, so I just wanted to see if anyone has experience with a similar scenario. Our company is moving to O365 next fiscal year, so probably at least 6 months out. Some individual users bought individual copies of O365 for themselves without asking anyone. If I let them attach their work email to the personal O365 account, will that interfere with moving them to the company O365 account when that eventually gets created?

I'm totally willing to block them from installing the software, but it could come down to being overridden by manger politics if I don't have a solid reason.
