Open IV handling.meta issues

So i use the newest version of open iv and i use this mod -https://www.gta5-mods.com/vehicles/gta-iv-style-handling-mod-for-gta-v So I know how these mods are supposed to work. You go to Updates-update.rpf-common-data. So i opened the mod in the folder and using edit mode switched the handling mod and the regular handling .metas. I know for a fact beacuse the file size is diffrent. I have all the openiv.asi stuff installed if you are wondering but i cant get the handling to change even if i change the files. Help NEEDED
