Good, non immersion breaking mods?

I'd like good non immersion breaking mods, and also mods that aren't based on another world for instance no LOTR or game of thrones mods, I've heard pendor is good, there was also something about old Japan, are these good packs? Are there any other separate mods I should look into to add to my play through with these packs?
