[Help] Building First PC

I've never before built a computer. I want to build a computer with my dad which can run games like Fallout 4 and Battlefield 1 in Pretty Nice graphics without doing the little lag sputter. What would I need to get? How much money do I need to save up? How do I install it? Basically give me a noob's guide to building good desktop computers.
