Refined storage Wireless crafting grid doesn't work when linked to non - overworld grid?

Playing FTB Beyond.

I'm attempting to set up a remote base in another dimension (currently Lost Cities, but will do others). I have a grid set up through a network transmitter/ receiver/ dimensional upgrade back to my main base that works fine. I've hooked a wireless transmitter up to the grid, same as I have at my main base. My normal wireless crafting grid doesn't work, fine, technically it's out of range of the original controller. However, when I craft a new one, I can bind it to the new grid fine (icon indicates it's been bound), but it doesn't do anything from there. What am I missing?
