Found an old iPod touch, and a matching speaker set. Want to use it as a dedicated Spotify device. Is it possible to control Spotify on this older iPod touch from an iPhone?

Usually Spotify will have a "devices available" prompt on the bottom of the app, but I suspect since the iPod touch has an older version, it's the reason that option is not available.
