As a young wrestling fan, I agree with Rip Rogers and Randy Orton
When I say young, I mean I am 20. Most of the wrestling I've seen without watching the network is from 1999 onwards. I know there's some here that witnessed the entire 90s and 80s and can remember a time when wrestlers were mean, big men beating each other up and wrestlers were legitimately the toughest guys on earth. Rip and Randy were talking about indie wrestling these days and I can't really disagree with them. That's what majority of the indie wrestling is these days, a lot of no sells and frequent dives. At one point in my lifetime, dives felt like a desperation tactic to win. Now, it's as common as a headlock. The best wrestling I've seen featured very little dives or flippy shit. I've seen some PWG stuff on YouTube and it does look like bunch of unnecessary crap. I believe that wrestling has a time and place for everything. Don't see why they got a ton of crap for it.
Edit: Maybe I should keep my standards low when watching indie wrestling instead
