Madrid should "wait" on Mbappe.
Outside of the obvious "he's too young" and "the pressure will be immense" ect, their is another reason(s) why Madrid should wait to buy Mbappe.
If the speculation that Mbappe wants to play for Madrid is true, Madrid has the advantage in negotiations on Monaco and any other team. A common thought is if Madrid bought Mbappe this summer, he would end up back at Monaco on a one or two-year loan. If Mbappe is committed to playing for Madrid eventually, both he and Madrid don't have to make a move happen now. Mbappe can continue to develop at Monaco while not re-negotiating a new contract with Monaco, pressuring them into accepting a better offer (from a Madrid perspective) out of fear Mbappe would leave on a free, and it's not like they can sell Mbappe somewhere else, as it's the player who makes the ultimate decision to leave. So Madrid can just wait this out and pay a more reasonable price for Mbappe in a year or two as opposed to blowing their brains out this summer with an insane price.
Thoughts?
