Any solutions for lockable knobs?

I bought an august smart lock today, thinking it would be simple to set it up. Its on an interior door in an office building. I currently have a lockable doorknob in the door, while installing, i realised that the august is not actually compatible with this lock as the screw holes in the mounting plate are far too narrow. does anyone know if theres a solution? I have a lock which is very similar to this one.
