Title help tennessee

Ok so I purchased a vehicle from a friend and the title had NO LIEN on it. But my friend had borrowed money against the vehicle at his bank. And now the bank wants the title to the vehicle but it's in my name and I paid him for the vehicle. What should I do??? The bank doesn't have a lien on the vehicle my friend is saying they are calling wanting the title
