Lots of static randomly with Zalman MC1 Mic.

Ok so basically I don't know whats wrong with the mic but basically almost 10 times a day it will cut my voice out and just play really loud static and the only way I can fix it is to just jiggle the cord around a lot until it finally stops. This is the 2nd zalman mic i've boughten because of the same problem.
