[Ps4] [DISCUSSION] New to bf4 muitplayer maps

The only Battlefield game I bought has been bf1 which I still play. I have platinumed the game and French dlc if that tells you anything. My question is "what do I need to prepare myself for as far as shooting mechanics and other things related to bf4. Are the maps bigger then bf1s?
