Hardware acceleration off causes gifs to appear very slow.

I have an issue, where basically i have to have hardware acceleration off since if i full screen chrome for any reason it starts flashing on and off of a black screen, so in order to not have that, i turned off hardware acceleration in chrome settings, now though i have the issue of gifs from gfycat are slow(they look like they're 5fps gifs).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
