Ballistic Overkill not working at all!

I just purchased this game because of the Steam sale and when I run it, it shows a black screen with the audio playing. I first ran it through Deepin os and nothing. Then I installed Linux Mint 18.1 Cinnnamon with the Nvidia 375 drivers and still nothing. I can run my other games like Insurgnecy just fine but not this game for some reason.I have a GTX 1070 with 16gb of RAM and a i7 6700k.
