Why Are Quora Users So Pro China & Anti USA?

It amazes me how many Quora users from the U.S bash their own country, claiming China is the greatest thing and dismissing many faults it has. Meanwhile the ethnic Chinese are all over Quora downvoting/harshly reacting to any questions critical of China while trying to paint China in an innocent positive light.

What on earth is going on with this and why are so many Americas willing to further inflate the ego of mainland Chinese netizens while bashing their own country she harshly?
