ID_Fairy Delaware Review!
#Ordered this after reading many positive reviews, thinking that this would be a great ID to use in the DMV area, as well as potentially instate.
#Uncertainty Level: Medium (Fake in hand comparing with real scans and past instate reviews)
| Uncertainty Level | Reason |
|---|---|
| High | Comparing with nothing (or BarBook) |
| Medium-High | Photos of fake comparing with real scans and past instate reviews |
| Medium | Fake in hand comparing with real scans and past instate reviews |
| Medium-Low | Fake in hand comparing with physical U21 in hand |
| Low | Fake in hand comparing with physical O21 in hand*** |
| #Communication: [8/10] | |
| Told me when my order was confirmed, and responded to my questions within a day. Secure order form, but probably unfriendly to anyone who has never ordered an ID before, or doesn't use bitcoin often. |
Suggestion: inform your customers when their order has shipped! This is great information to have in case you need to know when to beat your parents to the mail.
#Cost: [10/10] $55 for a very solid ID with dupes is a fantastic price. Fairy could easily charge $10-$20 more and still be fair.
#Shipping: [8/10] Ordered on the 10th, and received on the 26th, so just over a 2 week turnaround time. Pretty good, and within the advertised turnaround time, but it would have been nice to know when it shipped.
#Stealth: [4/10] Domestic shipping. I couldn't exactly tell what was in it when I first felt the mail. However, if your parents go through your mail, either order this to a friends house, or get a PO box.
#Template: [9/10] Front Back Seriously a great template! I honestly can't find any major problems with this ID. The only thing I would note is that the microtext is probably good enough for most uses, but it really isn't sharp. If you go to anywhere where a bouncer might have a loupe, you might want to go elsewhere.
#Photoshop: [7/10] Fairy did a very nice job here getting my skin tones right, as well as having realistic shadows. The photo on this ID however is very blurry. Honestly that's the first thing I noticed about this ID, that my picture is blurrier than any other ID I've ever owned. I'm not sure if this is how Delaware IDs are supposed to look, but if not, this could be a problem.
#Holograms/OVI: [8/10] Again this is where having a physical to compare to would come in handy. The holos are pretty good, but they feel kinda flat. If that is how normal Delaware IDs are, then perfect, but there's another problem. Under both of the coat of arms, it should read, "LIBERTY AND INDEPENDENCE" however it is absent from both. This likely won't be a big issue, although it is an issue nonetheless.
#Scanning: [8/10] I think everything works fine on this ID. I scanned using BCS on iOS. Instead of the full 9-digit showing up, only the first 7 show. If this is a quirk with DE IDs I'll change this to a 10, but otherwise this should be fixed.
#Signature: [10/10] Looks good and is in the right position. Not much to say cause I gave Fairy a custom sig to work with.
#Conclusion: [9/10] Fantastic ID for the price, and would absolutely recommend for anyone on in a neighboring state, or at least relatively close (DMV, NC, NY, etc...). I plan on using this when I go to Delaware for vacation this summer, and will update this review if I can compare it to a real O21/U21.
