Dashboard Widgets disappeared, now unable to add any

What's up?

I just finished creating all of my dashboard widgets (about 15 of them), and was just about to drag tham around to reorganize them. I was able to drag once, but then it stopped allowing me to drag so I refreshed. Then all my widgets disappeared, and I was unable to add any widgets again. I performed all of the self-help steps but to no avail. I did find several other people with similar problems but no one has helped them: 1, 2, 3
