Feedly and Spammy Redirects

I posted this over at r/android but I think I should've posted it here...

The other day I was on Feedly and when I would click to read the full story the websites would redirect me to a fake Facebook page with a pop up saying I won a prize. The websites were legit (Windowscentral and Makeuseof). I uninstalled Feedly and cleared all data from Chrome. I then reinstalled Feedly but this time I set it to not open in an external browser and it seemed fine but today it started to do it again so I just uninstall Feedly and haven't reinstalled it.

I can use Chrome and Firefox fine with no weird redirects. I have Malwarebytes installed and ran a scan with Norton and nothing was found.I don't visit shady sites and only download well known apps from the playstore.

This just seems weird because it only happens in Feedly and I know it's not a shady app or anything. The reviews on the Playstore don't mention it happening to anyone else.

Has this happen to anyone here? Curious if my Tablet has malware or if its a problem on Feedly's end.
