Request a little help on what Apple TV offers, or is it redundant?

I currently own a 65 inch Visio 4K smart TV, and Xbox one , Nintendo switch and have Comcast cable. I also have a 2009 MacBook Pro, and iPhone 7 Plus and an iPad air 2. I have been interested in an Apple TV for quite some time, mostly because I love my Apple products. As much as I would love to cut Comcast out, my wife will not let me as there are specific channels that she likes. Of course we use Netflix and Amazon prime and a few other apps that I can get through my Xbox or the TV. I am not sure if buying an Apple TV would be redundant or if there is anything further that the AppleTV would offer or perhaps be better. I cant stand the user interface of the Xbox and the smart tv is clunky, but both serve their purpose . I know about airplay, but am not sure how useful it would be. I also have read on posts that people own an ATV, along with fire sticks and /or chrome cast. What does the Apple TV offer that would make one have multiple similar devices? How do you utilize the Apple TV in your life? I have no real digital products like movies , and I do have Apple Music, but can just as easily stream via Bluetooth to the sound at. Basically, I'm just looking for user experiences to decide if an Apple TV is a worthwhile purchase for me
