[TOMT] [Movie] Low-budget movie about a veteran (I think) who deals with drugs and then shoots himself in the head at the end

I can only remember bits and pieces about this movie.. the main character was a disheveled looking guy, I'm pretty sure he's supposed to be a vet suffering from PTSD, there's a lot of drugs in the movie... I think some guys are after him, there's like a shoot-off in the end... one scene shows a woman on a motorcycle as main character is waiting in line for benefits check or something... in the end he shoots himself in the head in his kitchen... I think the title was one-word, I think it's from the 70s or 80s... wish I could remember more argh... another thing I remember is that it had a horrible soundtrack that was apparently done by the main character/actor..
