Garage Spiders
Having a problem with Spider volume in a detached two car garage in my backyard (concrete slab, cinderblock roof, exposed roof rafters/joists). Garage has primarily become my woodworking shop and I often work with one or both doors open since there is no ventilation in there and the windows don't even open. But outside of the weekend the doors stay closed the entire time
I need some idea's on how to contain my spider situation. These buggers are everywhere, while I don't really mind their presence to handle any flying insects that enter they are creating webs all over all my tools and workspaces and vacuuming everything up periodically isn't getting the job done. I've seen other posts about needing to take care of the food source, but I feel like my spider: spider food ratio is way off. Outside of a centipede that lives in the garage I haven't really seen any other bugs in there aside from some flying insects that find their way in when I work with the doors open. No signs of any ants, termites, roaches etc. Not sure if there is anything I can do to keep the spider population more manageable. (vacummed up an egg sac this weekend). I'm thinking of hanging some glue tape traps in the corners of the garage but is there any other treatment I can do that would curb the spider activity?
