Rotating phone on wifi causes artifacts

I'm hoping someone else can confirm.

I've notice when playing, any fast movement or rotation causes artifacts in the stream.

I've taken the phone out of the HMD and rotated the HMD around (I'm using NoloVR) and can see there is no artifacts caused. So its not the positioning system + NoloVR ( which is tethered ).

But when I rotate my phone while watching a moving scene, it causes graphical corruptions.

I tried disabling gyro completely on my phone.

I'm wondering now if it its purely wifi interference because when the phone rotates its antenna may be partially out of phase with the router.

OR if Vridge is actually still sending gyro data or using gyro data to remove perceived latency and its causing encoding or performance problems on my phone. Even though I have Freetrack as the tracking source in Riftcat and gyro disabled in Vridge.

It doesn't do any of this in tether, but tether is flaky enough as it is for me, it just disconnects immediately.
