How do you guys like to design your PC minis?

As I came to make my mini, I was just wondering, regardless of which characters you play, those of you who use websites such as Hero-forge where you can customise your mini; do you:

a) Make minis straight away for games you know will be enjoyable, or wait a few sessions?

b) Design a mini that looks level 1, level 20 or somewhere in between?
