Games like Stardew Valley but more efficient?

During the steam summer sale I picked up Stardew Valley but I didn't like having to micro-manage stuff. Are there games that are more about overall efficiency?

For instance, the old Sims Tower game, you set up high rise buildings and worked on tweaking things to make the tower run efficiently. I don't like the other sims games tho like sim city or the sims or rollercoaster tycoon types.

I'm hoping there are a newer batch of games to check out. Thanks!
