Looking into buying the 3months/.99$ deal. Wanted to see if we were allowed cancel auto-subscription immediately or wait it out?

I'm not much of a music person, but 3m/.99$ is good for me. Wanted to see what the deal is when talking about cancellation/avoiding the $9.99 renewal. Thanks.
