How to carry with Aatrox?

So I've been winning my lane most of the time and end up taking tower and getting pretty fed. However, as much as i've been split pushing and doing my job I am unable to win some games. I feel like despite being 8/1 there's only so much I can do. How do you carry a game with Aatrox?
