[PC] Why is there chat censoring?

Title says it all. Why does an M rated game, on PC, have the words like fuck, shit, pussy, bitch, and xbox get censored in the text chat? WTF? The game literally says all of those words very often, so why the fuck is R* censoring text chat? I get censoring racial slurs and all, but xbox? Really?
