Suggestions for My Father in Law?

My recently retired father in law is an un-diagnosed dyslexic. Until now, it was never as big a deal (or at least he didn't let it be known) because he could throw himself into his work.

Now that he's retired, it's becoming more and more evident to be impacting his quality of life. Since he can barely read, his options to pass the time are very limited.

I admittedly am ignorant on the subject and can't truly relate to what he's going through. I'm hoping the Reddit community can offer some suggestions for a man in his late sixties to help him mitigate and/or learn to cope with his challenges, or even just hobbies that might pique his interest.

Thanks for any feedback!
