Egg hatching bug since update?

Hi reddit. I don't often post on here but I feel the need to after a frustrating night. Basically I started this game not long before the new gym update, and had no problem hatching eggs. Today sitting in the passenger seat if my friends car I managed to fill up my egg slots. I don't usually pay for things in games like this but I felt like this game deserved it as I'll get a lot of time out of it.. I bought 9 incubators. Put all my eggs in a few 10ks 5ks and 2ks and was excited to get them hatched. Tonight I went to the gym and I spent over an hour on the treadmill (I have the galaxy s8 so I can switch off my screen and leave pokemongo running in my pocket) I ran just over 12k on the treadmill and low an behold my eggs had barely moved. Pretty missed off th and I don't think I'll be putting more money into the game unless niantic fix it. Has anyone else had this issue? EU btw. Many thanks. -deegzy
