Using LoseIt app for the first time. HOLY CRAP THAT IS A LOT OF CALORIES!

So I got an itch to finally download LoseIt yesterday and start tracking. The good news: it has helped me remember what I actually had today. The bad news: I have somehow already managed 3320 calories and it's only 4:51pm. I'm not even off work yet. No wonder the absolute second I miss a few days of practice (Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu) I start to gain weight. By the time it's all said and done, if I went about my normal routine I'd eclipse 4,000 calories for the day.

According to IIFYM my BMR is 2093 and my TDEE is 2664.

I'm just in shock, honestly. That's a ton of calories already. I think it was the mentality of "I'll have this out of necessity (poor planning and being stuck with only gas station and food truck food most of today) in the hope that I eat good later." Later never came. I had crap for breakfast, crap for snacks, crap for lunch, and 2 caffeinated sugary drinks (newborn didn't let me sleep much haha). The more I read about it, the more I think I may be legitimately addicted to sugar. I've made stupid, rash decisions just to get my hands on a Little Debbie snack or a soda. For real, how did it ever get this far?

Sorry for ranting, I guess I'm just thankful I read some posts here yesterday that mentioned LoseIt. Maybe I'll have my own success story post in a few months?
