Ex contacted me after 3 months.

My ex girlfriend broke up with me 3 months ago. We had a lot of issues that couldn't work out. Anyways we hadn't talked since then but I got a few messages from her. They explained that we didn't get our deposit back on the apartment we lived in. She also said she hopes I'm ok and hopes we can hang out sometime. She also said it'd be great to talk. What does this mean/ what's the best course of action?
