Review #360 Mystery Sample

Mystery Sample picked and poured by my wife. Tasting notes messaged to u/eslim82 for reveal.

Color :

Nose : Dark caramel, musty oak, brown sugar & cinnamon roll. KISS.

Taste : Strong notes of stone fruits from the start that transition flawlessly to caramel, vanilla, rye and old oak. Maraschino cherries, peach juice, ginger, apricots, vanilla extract, fresh flowers, menthol, rye spice, mint chocolate, cinnamon, dark caramel, chai black tea, old oak, fernet, molasses, licorice & coffee cake. It shows a good balance from fruits to the heavier/darker flavors, this is BOURBON!

Finish : Rich creamy mouth-feel with complex notes of our beloved traditional bourbon notes that are in extreme harmony. Minty finish, which almost gives you the experience of that freshly brushed teeth feeling.

Guess : 115-120 proof, 14-16 Years, Four Roses Small Batch 2012?

Reveal : Four Roses OESV Bourbon Crusaders 10 Year 125.2 Proof

Conclusion : I want to be a crusader. 5/5
