Recovery time

FIX

I (25F) am going to get fixed next week!!!

But my tubes aren't the only things that'll be pulled out of me soon, one of my wishdom teeth got infected and needs to go too. I got an appointment with the oral surgeon 6 days after the big day as that was the first option. Since my gyno told me to take a week of recovery into account I'm wondering if it would be too soon to put my body into stress again.

Because of that I have a question for those who already got fixed: how long did you take to recover?

For wisdom surgery it's going to be really painful

Mine went really well, and I only had 2 remaining to pull (only born with 3, one rotted out).

Granted, I was fully put under because I'm a health risk and have to be tubed while under teh drugs and you can't do that in a regular clinic

I had my bilateral salpingectomy and endometrial ablation 9 days ago and one of my incisions is still tender and healing. Cramping is very minor, but I am still spotting from the ablation.

I would double check with your dental surgeon because if you have to go under they might postpone it due to you going under so soon before (too much anasthetic can be dangerous). If you are just getting local anesthetic then you should be fine. You'll just be hurting on both ends. No big deal.

Honestly though, getting your wisdom out is not that bad. I had all four removed and I just chilled for 3 or 4 days on Percocets.

Thanks! I'm way more nervous about the tooth, your comment helps with that. :) It'll be by local anesthetics and the dental surgeon's assistent didn't see any issues as long I'll be walking around, but I'll definitly dubble check. The hurting on both ends at the same time might be a good thing. While I need painkillers for one end, the other will be numbed down as well ;)

If they're doing a laparoscopic tubal then, in my opinion, you should be alright. You're still going to have to be gentle with yourself but as long as you don't decide to do more than get your teeth pulled and go back the hell to bed, I don't see why it would cause much problems. They're not touching that portion of your body. I was back in the office by day 4 or 5 after my tubal, but just not doing heavy lifting yet.

Sounds good! Sleeping it all off might be a good idea, I definitely won't make other plans for a week orso. Thanks :)
