Blue Beetle Comics. Where do I start?
I wanted to see if anyone could recommend some Blue Beetle comics for me to read. I don't generally read comics often but will buy a collection/trade collection when I find a character or story that seems interesting.
I don't know anything about Blue Beetle aside from playing the Injustice 2 game and few small bits of information I have read.
So, where should I start? I'd prefer to buy a collection/trade collection book if possible.
Thanks.

Well if you want to collect Blue Beetle trades, I'm afraid you're out of luck. His 2006 and 2011 series are both out of print though you may be able to find some Teen Titan trades featuring him.
My recommendation would be to go read the 2006 series by Giffen and Rogers on Comixology. This run easily has the best characterization of Jaime with a stellar supporting cast and fantastic writing. It is one of my favourite superhero runs of all time.
His new 52 series wasn't as great which was probably why it got cancelled.
The Rebirth series has shown signs of improvement but the first trade that is currently out isn't all that great. However the recent issues with DeMatteis as cowriter have definitely improved a fair bit.
Awesome thank you.
