Can someone clarify if Bakayoko would be a good signing? I mean apart from his goal vs city in the champions league i can't really see a world class player here... Maybe i am wrong but surely we should be in for Nainggolan instead?

We don't need either, both of them are more box to box. We need more of a holding CDM to complement Herrera and Pogba who are both similar styles to the player you named.

This is true but this is what we thought about Lukaku when they first reported our interest.
Bakayoko is not what we want. And Mou loves his United job too much to buy him out of spite. So this is definitely Chelsea's handiwork. Or best case, journalists favouring Chelsea.

Assuming we are going for a midfielder, a DM would be top priority. Which he isn't.
If he is to be bought, it will only be as a surplus. Because, Herrera is very much in Jose's plans. And with that we dont want a 50mil€ rotational player.
Haven't seen any solid sources for that. It seems more like it's been inferred from the situation because of the timing of the link and our previous lack of interest in the player.
