"Alive Again" phenomenon existed in (2004). Web Archive also shows berensteinbears.com existed with website traffic peaking in (2004). Google Trends shows a search for the ME in (2005). What's the connection?

Previously I've made this interesting connection to the years (2004-2005), and I've found even more strange correlations.

Did the Mandela Effect also occur around this time?

Well apparently it was called the "Alive Again" phenomenon, where large groups of people believed someone passed away, but they were actually still alive.

Earliest Reported “Mandela Effect” Cases

First most-reported “Mandela Effect” (aka “alive again”) celebrity, Bob Keeshan as “Captain Kangaroo” In a small sample size survey conducted in 2005, I reported that nine celebrities at that time were noted for having been reported dead by reputable sources, only to subsequently be reported very much alive again. In a note we might find interesting now, but that didn’t seem surprising at the time, nobody in the summer of 2005 mentioned Nelson Mandela.

This led me to search "Berenstein Bears 2004" verbatim on google.

Here's what I found...

Web Archive "berensteinbears website" existed with the highest peaks being (2004-2005), and (2013-2017) when the Mandela Effect, as we know it, became popular due to Mandela's death.

Google Trends shows similar pattern

Berenstainbears website also experienced peaks around the same times.

There were also multiple "berenstein" bears related sites with this specific spelling around the same years. Most people were selling items.

Previously I was startled by a specific search of "Mandela Effect" in 2005. Which led me to this research.

2004 is 4 years after 2000 ("Y2K")

2017 is 4 years after 2013 (Mandela's Death)

Note:

When searching "Berenstein Bears pdf" verbatim on google, a lot of .gov, .edu, pdfs, and papers seemed to spell the name with "stein". Some are officially catalogued, and recorded archives for state and government records. Others are teachers pdfs for class, etc.
