MotoG3 is pretty waterproof

Today I discovered that the MotoG3 is more waterproof than I expected.

I had gotten something on my shorts that needed to get cleaned off right away so I took them off and tossed them into the washing machine. After a few minutes I heard clunking coming from the laundry room and that's when it hit me, I had left my phone in my pocket. I rushed to get my shorts out but it is a front loader and even after you stop the laundry cycle it goes through the spin cycle to remove the water.

After an eternity, the water was removed, the door unlocked and amazingly I found my Moto3G none worse for the wear. I'd say it had to have been submerged for at least 5 minutes.

So it's good to know that it will survive if you happen to drop it into a toilet or sink.
