Help with Alliance Quests information

I'd like to know if my understanding of Alliance Quests is correct or not and maybe get some updated information.

1. Alliance Quests are based off Prestige and Map level. Prestige determines the difficulty of the enemy and points collected for there defeat while Map level determines the difficulty of the map and rewards received.

2. If we are running two BGs and we defeat the boss on the first one but not the second one, it is still considered a win for the alliance but so much if we ran only one BG. We would still receive more points.

We only have 16 people in our alliance with about 12 that AQ active in every quest. We are not a strict leveling go getter alliance but I'm trying to make it appeasing for the ones that do like to move up and get bigger. Our ratings vary from 50K to 154K so running larger maps doesn't seem to be an option. We can run the map 2 successfully every time. Map 3 may be once out of 4 tries with just one BG.

Is my thinking correct or has things changed? Any recommendations for our bigger guys?
