Correct size but always hurts?

My measurements in inches:
Snug 29.5.
Tight 28.
Standing 36.
Leaning forward 38.
Laying down 36.
Short roots. Mostly even but slightly FoB.
I wear 30F.

After trying a bunch on, Freya Deco Vibe and Cleo Marcie fit me the best. I have two Panache maximum support sportsbras for the gym. The wires have always dug in a little with some achiness but i figured it was the norm in a bra that fits. However, i have spent the last two glorious weeks in a TJMaxx sports bra (road trip.) Today i put on my Freya and OMG all the wire digging!!! It almost feels like bruising against my ribs.
With bras i have tried, i often get an issue where the bra tends to dig in my armpit cutlets.
I also read an article about bras that are too tight can dig into arm pits, have painful wires, and hooks that look pulled.
This is me.
But how can my bras be too tight if that should be my size according to all the calculators and Bratabase?
