r/ecr_uk Fantasy Football League is now open!

Hello there Vapers of the UK!

Last year I created a fantasy football league for the sub and it got quite a bit of attention. When I announced the winner, some were gutted they didn't know about it. We are going to try and fix that by starting early!

The league is hosted on the official fantasy premier league website and is called ECR_UK for clarity. All you need is a team and some management skills. If you need a full breakdown of how it's played, please see the website.

If you want to create your own team and get involved, here's how:

1. Go to The Official Fantasy Premier League website and create an account.

2. You will be able to create a team up to the value of £100M which the website clearly guides you through.

3. You give yourself a team name - please use your Reddit username here

4. Select the section for "Leagues" and select to join a league. Use the code 559568-131745 to join our league.

It's really that simple! The scoring system is explained on the website with different points awarded for different things that happen, i.e. 6 points for a goal, 3 points for an assist etc.

If there is a lot of interest, I may try and sort out a small prize for the winner. Obviously it'll be vaping related and won't be anything expensive as it'll be out of my own pocket. The winner of last seasons league won himself a lovely bottle of liquid which he assured me was tasty.

A few things to remember: i. Please use your Reddit username for your team name because that helps with establishing a winner. This will especially help if someone doesn't post that they're joining and so I can message them directly after winning. ii. Please post in this thread if you're joining so I have an idea of how many people are up for it. iii. Please don't criticise other peoples teams on here or the website. You can curse them as much as you want whilst looking at it, but don't let that transition into words on here. It helps keeps it friendly :)
