[Discussion] Build Question? Nightblade 2H Sword vs DW?

Hey all, recently picked up ESO again and jesus christ I didn't give this game the chance it deserved anyway.

So regarding nightblades I keep hearing DW is the way to go when it comes to dealing a ton of damage, I have tried it but wasn't finding it as fun as 2H sword, i'm now almost at CP160 and am wondering how viable is 2H sword for PvE and PvP.

I heard it doesn't output as much DPS as DW but exactly how much am I losing? Is 2H still viable for vet level content and is there any tips or gearsets which can further improve the performance of 2H if it is viable at vet level content.

Also I run a Bow as a primary weapon but like to switch if enemies get close etc.
