Everett a good place to move to?

I've been looking at moving from the Midwest to Washington. I live in a super small town, it takes me 40 minutes to get to the grocery store. I've been to Seattle, other than traffic it seems like a nice place.

However Everett also seems like a nice balance, driving distance and not a huge area. I've never been, so wanted to get opinions on areas/neighborhoods. Also internet is pretty important to me, how's that?

If you have other town/city recommendations, let me know.

I'm aiming for $1.8k/m including utilities, is that possible for a decent place? Single person, just want to live in a good neighborhood.
