Alduin's Bane / Dragon Scroll Bug

Tried looking through threads but didn't see anything similar. Playing on PS4 with no mods, finished every quest except the main one. When I read the Dragon Scroll at the time wound, the only thing that happens is a sound that indicates a regular book is being opened. Nothing like when I read the other two scrolls. Never played around with mods or anything... is there any way around this or is my skyrim journey over?
