Windows 10 game mode

Does anybody use game mode with this game? I"be gotten in the habit of opening up my game bar for every game I have and just enabling game mode.

I bought siege during the summer sale and first tried out the single player training missions. I noticed a couple minutes in that I would get game freezes that lasted for about 3-7 seconds seemingly at random before the game would recover. Everything g else seemed fine. I'm able to lock the framerate at 120 without it budging otherwise.

After trying several missions and having it happen in every one of them I de used to uncheck the game mode option. After game mode was disabled the game freezes disappeared completely...

I haven't had an issue with any other games with game mode, so this is really odd to me. I tried running a search with game mode and rainbow six and found nothing out there. So I was curious if anybody else is running game mode no problem with this game.
